Mammatus Clouds
most of these are mammatus clouds. Mammatus are pouch-like cloud structures and a rare example of clouds in sinking air.
Hail – April, 19, 2011
We caught the tail end of this storm – didn’t get a lot of hail thankfully. We did get some pretty large hailstones though, have a look.
That perfect circle in the middle is a quarter.
